One of Braxton's T-ball games. He does pretty well, but when they're in the outfield, he generally busies himself with throwing his mitt in the air and kicking the dirt. Needless to say, I was a little nervous when I looked out at the last game to see him in the pitcher's position out there. I thought, "Oh great! A majority of the balls get hit to the pitcher. Is he going to pay attention or look like a nimrod out there. He surprised me. The very first hit, he quickly scooped up the ball and threw it to first for an out. Then in the next inning he was playing third base, when he caught the ball, and after he looked around wondering what to do next he finally understood what his coach was yelling and stepped on third for another out. Whew! That was a close one! He actually had a lot of balls come to him in that position as well and he did a good job hustling after them and getting them to where they needed to go. I was glad he had a good, exciting game because he hadn't wanted to go prior to that game, saying T-ball was boring.
